These were taken around 5:00 this evening. I was glad to have a variety of species to try to capture.
Please feel free to offer suggestions. I'm really trying to get better images.

Ya dun good, Vicki. Good shots & the 'golden glow' definitely has an enhancing effect.

Vicki, It's always about the light and you've done a great job here. With each posting I can see your progress. Were these with the 100-400? or which lens?
Depth of Field can be an issue with long lenses. Taking photos of groups of birds can be problematic. With the Stilts they appear far enough away that you did have the DOF necessary. For any given f/stop, you gain DOF with distance. With the Killdeer, which seem a good bit closer, DOF is an issue. The camera seems to have focused in between the two birds leaving both of them just a little out of focus. Even at smaller apertures DOF can be razor thin when the birds get closer and closer. In this situation, it is often better to concentrate on one bird at a time rather than the group.
The ducks appear to be Northern Pintail females and the wader is probably a Greater Yellowlegs.
Keep up the good work!
These are just great! I love them all.
Wonderful job.

Thanks so much Dook. I'm quickly learning the value of shooting early or late in the day.

I feel like I'm looking at a jigsaw puzzle with some of these group shots. Glad you liked it.

Thanks so much for your in depth reply and the useful information. As you know, I'm learning as I go and still have much to learn.
I appreciate the bird IDs and the kind words. These were with the Canon 100-400 as you guessed. I'm still in the trial period with it.
