Here is on I shot in the Gorge in Oregon last month.

Not too shabby.
Upon download and enlargement, a few hikers can be seen in the background. A bit of cloning can remove them.
Well done Pappy! This is one of those photos I saved to my hard drive so I could use CS6 to read the EXIF data, as in, how did he do that(?)! I have been telling my sister for years now that she needs to USE the ND filters I bought for her if she is going to shoot "silky" waterfalls. Beyond that, I wondered why you would shoot in ISO 400, but I surmise this waterfall was in shadow, and you needed to balance the bright/dark contrast. A teaching moment, for which I thank you.
Nice work,thanx for sharing.

Good spot with the hikers. I actually like them though as it gives perspective to the waterfall. On first viewing I thought it was a small stream but in reality it is quite an expansive scene and they (hikers) are relatively unobtrusive.
Could you have gotten the silky look without the ND filter?

Pappy: Question for you: Which ND did you use?/ How many stops does it add to your exposure?
Thanks.

Below is Exif info of photo. Basically, at ISO 400, +1 EV, 1-sec at f/20.
Lowering the ISO to 100 would gain 2-stops, which could eliminate the use of a ND4.
