The last few days, some of the avatars are missing for members and some are there. Also, when posting a photo, they are not showing up. Only the icon for the photo. When you click on the icon to open photo, nothing happens. Non of the other member photo's are showing up either. Is anyone else having this problem? First time this is happened to me. I am running XP and have Chrome installed.
Non of my other sites are having this problem, only UHH.
Frustrated!

Same here, no issues with Windows 7 64-bit and Chrome.

The problem may be coming from Internet Explorer.

Thanks for the replies! Not sure what is going on. No problem with any other site. Only UHH. Problem started on Saturday. Not sure what else to do. Checked my speed and am running 30 megs download. No problem there.

If it was, I would be having problems with other sites and there is no issue.

Thanks JR! Just tried uploading another photo. It only shows the photo icon. It is an rc jet. I am assuming you and others can see this. If so, I have a problem HOUSTON!

Personally I use photobucket, save my shots there and simply copy the link to here

Not necessarily, not all sites use the same XML/HTML protocols. If this site is not following the same standards it could easily be the only place you would see the issue. This is not the first time that problems like this have come up here.

To make matters worse, Microsoft does not fully comply with the World Wide Web standards, so Chrome and others might work where IE does not.

No problems here, using Vista and Firefox.

It might have to do with the "cache" in your computer, or hard drive space. Might need to clean up some hard drive space to allow the temp files required.

Juice, I had exactly what you said yesterday with a post. Don't remember which. But I'm on a phone, so I was not surprised. But I've not noticed an avatar issue. All the Ugly Hogs seem to be just that.
Good luck

Boo, hiss, hiss.

That forces us to download a full size image whenever we open the thread. Whether we want it or not.
Not a nice thing for those that still don't have unlimited usage and broadband speeds.
