Deetle51 Loc: Grafton ,WV

Recently retired and with the extra time I decided to try my hand into Photography always like it. I started with a point and shoot last year bought a sony Nex-3 and just a month ago I moved on to a Sony A-55. Got some good ole glass from e-bay those old minolta lens made in Japan are still tops. The wife and I joined the local Photo Club and are trying to learn all we can she has a Fuji point and shoot and it takes some real good shots. Soon the Fall leaves will light up our world can't wait to shoot them. Glad to find a place we can get some help.

I am Delta from Tennessee. I guess you could say I am rekindling my love for photography. I took a few classes about ten years ago and instantly fell in love. I suppose I was fairly decent because everyone loved what I was doing so much to the point they all wanted me to shoot for them even tho I was not a professional. I did that for a while and did pretty well until I went through a divorce and had to go to work on nights to make ends meet. Over time it just fizzled out. I was laid off in June of this year and it has been the best thing that ever happened to me. I revisited photography and again ppl started asking me to shoot for them. Problem is I have a completely manual camera and need to remind myself of everything. Oh yeah, and let's not forget how much technology has grown in ten years! Shooting a wedding Saturday and I am really nervous because it's been so long since I've shot something so important. Let's hope it all comes back to me. Taking a backup digital with me just in case. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
