Nice Tony, but I always wish the good shooters would list lens and exposure settings. How else can we learn and not just be envious.

Makes me homesick. I'm from New England and this time of year I miss the East coast. California is beautiful but not quite like this.
What's missing here is the smell of wood smoke just about everywhere you go
and the crisp bite in the air to let you know that the snow is around the corner.

Hello John,

Glad to. Nikon D5200 with 16 - 85 lens set at 32mm, on Tripod with cable release, ISO 100, Aperture priority at f20, speed 1/40. Minor processing in Lightroom 5.

Impending Snow is definitely the downside of fall.

Amazing! I know it's a much reduced copy, but, I see little to no diffraction at f/20!

Thanks. That is pretty much what I would have tried to do. I do not have the 16-85 lens, do you like it? I have the 17-35 and an old 24-85, and always stuck in the middle or needing to change. I also have a 35mm 1.4 prime that I love for existing light and indoor. It is extremely sharp but I sometime want the wider angle. My 24-85 is having some issues with bright spots in the shots leaking light along the edges. Make parts of shots look blurry. I posted one of the examples on uhh and most agreed it was either the lens or sensor that could not handle the contrast. Would not mind the range of the 16-85. Can you tell me more, or which one?
Thanks,
JH

I like the 16 -85 for a walk around lens. Its pretty sharp and it gives me enough options from wide to distance. Not the fastest lens but it's a good compromise and reasonable cost.
