Why do so many people here, post a question about an issue they are having with their results photographing, and they don't attach an image to show what they are referring too?

I hope this shakes things up a little, like it did this day...

I feel your pain, my brudder... :) In my brief time here, I've come to the conclusion that this site has a lot of very neophyte users on it, and something tells me that their sophistication with regards to using internet forum software is often on a par with their camera skills. This is not a bad thing, as everybody has to start somewhere. It's just a question of learning. They'll get better, if we help them.

Here's a photo of my dog, my grandkids, and a bug. What am I doing wrong?

I'm glad you didn't go into aviation as a hobby.

Do you mean flying under the hood, IFR only. you make a good point, no need to post a photo, if you attach all the EXIF data. good call...

Uh, I didn't get the first two pictures but the third one looks really good even though I'm not a big fan of roaches. Wait a minute please. It moved. I think it's on my monitor. Just a second...

:-) I know the feeling. It took me a while one time, but I finally figured out, after hours of attempted cleaning, that my DIGITAL image didn't have the fingerprint on it that I kept seeing when I opened it on the PC..

This forum is barely 3 months old (according to post dates) and has definitely taken on a newer photographical aggregation. But, as previously stated by Jim, "we all start somewhere". I believe we have a responsibility to be helpful and understanding to the noobs and impart our wisdom and experience. I remember being there, too. And I still have a long way to go.
