Wonderful composition, lighting and subject
I had no idea (about being a Sawyer). I love the light on his face and his expression of intense understanding and knowledge.
Graham, you sure get around. Images from London, Hereford, NW Scotland, Cambridge. Your photographs never disappoint, are appreciated and admired by all. Congratulations!
(I personally seek them out on the UHH)
Great shot Graham. There is a working wood sawing windmill in Zaans Schans in the Netherlands. I was so intrigued my it I watched for quite awhile. It was a mechanical wonder.
A wonderful shot of the sawyer's face and intensity. The B/W treatment works very well. Nice work.
