SX50.

I had a little play with perspective. I can't touch my toes these days, so for low shots like this, I cheat by using a little fold up fishing stool, & sitting down on the job. This was shot with the SX50 about 5" off the deck with camera in 'P' mode, ISO250, & forced flash. The town of Maclean can just be seen in the background.

Nice shot. I use the fold out screen to maximum advantage in low camera shots. Flick through 90 deg and Bob's your uncle.
Is that another strange marsupial? A duck billed bollard, perhaps?

Thanks Nairiam & Froggy. By the way, I did use the fold out screen--would have been mission impossible otherwise. Do you really think I could sit on a stool & look through a viewfinder 5" above the deck? lol.

EDIT. Maybe it's a platyboll or something.

LOL What you need is one of those gardening stools, Earl. You can then just scoot along sideways like a crab taking photos along the way as you scoot. :-D Love this shot, by the way.

Thanks Donna. Your idea would be great on a hard surface. Not so sure about in sand or mud (where I often shoot from) though. lol.

Well Earl, just how low can a man get...
Nice shot and perspective...
Maybe we should start an "Old Crocks" club for those of us that can't "get down" like we used to...
I love these kind of pics, just a bit of fun mucking around with cameras...
Cheers,
Ron.
