Wind Cave National Park. A Ranger told us "this is very unusual to have the animals up close to the road." I could have used a longer zoom lens, but at the moment, these animals were were walking and I did not want to miss the event.

I like your leader shot! I think this one is more enjoyable in the context of the vast, empty plains. Not all animal shots are better just 'cause they're close :)
