yea your right it may be a bit low , but it's used I have seen them around new
for $700 body only and a 18-105 on it for $1000 . could have got a used one last year for $650 body only out of the want adds in buy and sell with only 6000 on shutter clicks . in the new year they will drop another $200 there cranking out the new replacement for them ever two years . I'll give him $600
for it . with the new d7100 out it only a mater of time that I will find for one for $500 maybe less . they deprecate faster than cars

well now I see there is another d300 on here for $400 they more than likely
are phony , let's just say if I had one and wanted $600 or $400 and it was in good shape . all I would have to do is put it in our free local buy sell adds for our area for that price and it would be sold in a couple days , to some one no further than a one hour drive away from my house . no fuss no mailing muss.
it's as simple as picking up a loaf of bread . I have seen a few in my buy sell paper for that and they go quick , so when I see these adds that involve cities and countries apart mail charges etc . they make no sense at all . it's a lot better to buy from the big stores in a case like that . at least there is a 60 day warrenty .

I just PM'ed the man and he explained his reasons which were that his health precluded his using a relatively heavy DSLR and he had joined the UHH for assistance and friendship. I doubt that he is still with us after this introduction.......
