Half Moon...wishful thinking

Folks, I love photographing the moon...but after awhile it gets sort of ho-hum. So with the aid of Photoshop, I decided to try this idea to spice it up a bit. Maybe this is what it might look like passing by in a UFO with those big old light gathering, alien eyes! The moon image is mine, the background is a screen-saver background I found online.

Great idea.
I also like photographing the moon...everytime I think I have enough moon pics..here it comes again...and there I am again, snapping away.

I like it! You should give a try to moonrise and moonset shots - when still some daylight. Never ho-hum that way :)

Thank you Kindly everyone. It's different but was a fun experiment. That's how we grow folks...thinking of new ways and new things. Now, I had to hurry when posting this, my wife wanted to go see the movie "Gravity" at the I-Max in 3-D. So I hurried this up a bit, wanted to upload the original but didn't want to risk being left behind...So here it is...wonder if I looks better? I hope it's not to crappy.
