Having all the multi colors is very popular in Japan the new K-50 can be ordered is so many different color combos it is ridiculous.

There was a time when metallic gray was the trend. Before that, brown I suppose. There is no "correct" colour. Personally, I think an all-white camera would look awesome and quite futuristic.

JR1 - Please - Look this up. You just brought up colored cameras a short time ago. Are you getting old and can't remember. By the way look on eBay and colord cameras from the 30's are bringing 10 times black ones are. - Dave
