Need help from fellow pentax users,i shoot a k10d looking for used teleconverter,need help with what kind and where?never used one but see other photographers at tracks using them any ideas would be appreciated! thanks

have only found 2 by vivitar at adorama, check with them to see if they arwe suitable.

The important question is- what lens will you be using it with?
With slower lenses, you'll probably lose autofocus because of the light loss from the convertor. 2 stops for a 2x.

Since there are not many used Pentax out there, the TC's with the electrical contacts seem scarce and consequently expensive - not sure about new prices or availability - but you will need the ones with at least the contacts.

I have a k5......it's not the camera its how fast your lens is...... the lower the f number the more light it lets in (example an f2 lens lets in a hell of a lot more light than an an f4).......study and do research.......as a general rule of thumb dont use a tele converter on any lens slower than f4.
