Viewfinders

I'm looking for a new digital camera. On my present and all previous cameras, I have depended on the viewfinder for nearly all my photos. Very few new cameras have viewfinders.

I've seen the Fuji S series and the Kodak 990. Neither seems to be highly rated, and I don't need such a long zoom range. I'm trying to stay in the $200 range.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello. I have both the Fuji s1500 and the Kodak Z990. They are terrific bridge cameras. I use the fuji for macro photography and portrait shoots. And the Kodak for all my outdoor long range wildlife photos as well as low light level shots.
For the money, they can't be beat!
Although I'd go for the up grade in the Fuji. For $200 on amazon.

Look at the Nikon P-90. It has been replaced by the P-500 so you can pick them up refurbished or used for about $200+-. Viewfinder and 3" tilt screen. 12mp, 24x zoom (26mm - 624mm)
There is also the new L-120 $250 new from Nikon direct.
I have one, Great camera!

Canon makes an array of viewfinder point and shoots. Look at their site. CanonUSA
