Busy...

Greetings all!
I have a Canon Rebel T1i. The past 2 weekends that I have used my camera to take pictures, when I am trying to shoot back to back shots quickly, my camera is preventing me to do so. I have it in Auto mode and the screen says "busy". Does anyone know why this is happening? It is kind of annoying, especially when something good happens and the moment has passed during the Busy time. Ugh! Not sure if it is the camera or the SD card. I have a 16 gb SanDisk Extreme.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! :D

Read this review of your camera....it explains (far down in the article) the slower burst rate....like most cameras !
