A few years back I attended a "Balloon Glow that takes place in Forest Park, in St Louis. I always took my tripod so I could get some good night shots. The Balloon Pilots would arrive in the afternoon and before dark, inflate the balloons. I was walking through the area taking pictures and one of the pilots had just unfolded his balloon in preparation for inflating it. I took a could of pictures and he asked me if I would like to go inside the envelope and photograph while he filled it with hot air...which I immediately said yes to do...I got a couple of shots before it was time for him to complete the inflation and I exited the balloon. Unfortunately the computer I had the pics stored on, crashed before I could back it up, so I lost the shots....They were certainly a different perspective and one I enjoyed experiencing.
