N.B. I will have to try and get a shot when the North sea is level. I think it is global warming that does it!! Not all due to this flare, I hope.

Thanks for the very kind comments. I will try to post more sometime.
Best camera I used offshore was 8MP.
By the time I went digital, I had taken all I wanted on film. It was a daily occurrence to see these things, so of course didn't see it as anything special. Too late now, but if I can share these, I am happy.

Thanks John, for looking and commenting.
It is posted as something different. I had started to compile a series, but it would take forever to upload. These two shots were complementary and I thought would stand alone.

Aw man, Been retired from offshore oil & gas for 4 years now that that brought smiles to my face. Use to walk up them , that you could and not when in that state, for exersize. Thanks for posting.
