Marv, I don't have any suggestions for you but I thought I'd comment on the big fish you have there. Great Scott! It's HUGE! Good Job!!

I would suggest two areas to look into. First would be the Delaware Water Gap, also many waterfalls in the area. (See Buchkill Falls). Second would be Mount Pocono. Gets you pretty high, you'll go right past Camelback ski resort. I haven't been up there for awhile so I'm not sure how much of a view there is now but in the past it was very nice.
Hope this helps. Cheers,
Tim

I don't know when you plan to go, but we have cloudy weather in this area, and the leaves won't be colorful much longer.
 Bushkill is a good place, also around Pocono lake off 940 is a good spot' driving south on 209 is a good road trip past brodheadsville. also Blakely area is a scenic area as well. I drove there many years as a truck driver and lived in the area. I live in Florida now,so i dont know what this year would bring,I hope you catch it right. Goodluck
I agree, that Bushkill Falls is usually great. Child's Park is a smaller version, and free, but was very nice when I was there 2 1/2 weeks ago. Neither are particularly close to Tannersville, so if you want to stay in that area, Camelback might be your best bet. The ride from Mt. Pocono to Blakeslee this morning was beautiful. The colors are good now, but a lot of leaves are already down, so you shouldn't delay much longer.
Enjoy!
Millbrook Village on the New Jersey Side of the Delaware River in the watergap also Digman Ferry Falls boardwalk on 2 lower falls no steps West of poconos is Rickets Glen. another place in the area is Eckley Village where the movie the Molly Mguires was Filmed ( old mining patch town )
