Recently while on holiday in Germany I saw the following photographic device in a photo shop window in Heidelberg.
Does anyone know what it might be used for?

Not unusual. It's used as a low lever dolly for doing video.

Dress it like a poodle, angle it up a little, and do underskirt perv photography? :shock: Just kidding...

A taller version is used for doing "walk through" video clips of residential real estate interior rooms that are replacing 360 degree panorama virtual tours in some parts of the country.
