Look to the right of your screen. There will be a half arrow in the middle. Click on it. I think you have the panel in hiding.

That is not it. The only feature not showing is BASIC. it's just not on the panel. Very odd. When it happened it just disappeared.

No, however, all the features are still working in Library, quick preview.

Hover the mouse over the left panel. Right click and you get a list of what is in the panel. Each has a check box. Your check box for Basic is probably blank.
