Wow. Who'd have thought of putting up an out-of-focus photo of his breakfast? Brilliant!
Mike.

Well....SOME of it is in focus...lol...I started eating before evaluating the image....no going back...

I reposted using another image where the in-focus is more towards the front...hopefully that looks better.

And this is a good lesson depth of field...35mm lens, f/4 and so shallow that I couldn't get more than a sliver of it in focus...it's NOT the focal length that determines the DOF..it's distance to subject and aperture.

I know Gary Taub promotes this kind of eating along with other true believers in "paleo" eating and you will probably lose weight eating this way, but try reading extensively on diet and you will learn how very unhealthful this way of eating is. A bowl of oatmeal with blueberries for breakfast would do you a lot more good.

You might start with reading Dr. Fuhrman's Eat to Live

I have done a LOT of reading, and study on this way of eating for about 10 years or more...and I can say that low carbing is a healthy way of eating...most certainly, not only do the most up to date clinical studies support that, but my own health (for the last 5 years) and the health of hundreds of thousands of others support that too.

Perhaps that is because people have been eating the kind of carbs which are unhealthful:refined flours, white rice, sugars of various kinds. Since you have done a lot of reading, you know that vegetables and fruits are carbohydrates. So does your version of healthful eating exclude eating kale, spinach, broccoli, strawberries and the like? Does it exclude black beans, kidney beans, chick peas and the like?

Well..two things:

1.) Low carb means eating fruits and veggies also...and I'm not a fan of many beans. Current studies show that high carbs lead to heart disease and all KINDS of things...even IF they are "unrefined"...the "better" carbs.

What was once thought to be bad...is now good...again.

2.) I'm not going debate this here...I've done it and frankly...it doesn't matter to me to defend it...eat the way you like...you won't get an argument from me.

I so agree!
People think low carb means only meat and eggs, but those are the people who don't do enough reading and are poorly un-informed. Yes, I eat eggs and meat.... lean meat.... and LOTS of vegetables! Nothing white, no sugar, nothing processed, just pure healthy food. And I've never felt better in my life!
