I took this image of the fog a week ago and had a 20x30 print done on metallic paper at AdoramaPix.

Well, it just came and they did a superb job, printed nicely, packed very well...all around great job.

Here it is hangin on my wall.

The second image is of the shot itself....I cloned in the sheriff from Walking dead and did the bloody hand prints and the warning stencils in PS.

PS: What looks like lens distortion is just the crappy WalMart frame sagging.

Nice job !!! I really like that picture. I have never used the metallic paper and have often wondered about it. I have used Adoramapix in the past mostly the hard cover photo books. I just may have to try the metallic paper. Thanks for sharing and again ...... Nice picture.

I print on metallic paper, 99% of the time. Its really a nice paper and sets the photos apart from the rest.

Your photo turned out very nice.

The frame isn't permanent...I just happened to have it.

Totally off topic , but I love your new avatar. Is it still Gracie?

And you zombie print is pretty cool. I have a few friends who would like it too just because it has the word zombie on it. I mean reeeeely...what is this sudden fascination for zombies and ghouls these days??

No...this one is Pancho....he's her big step brother.

Here he is gathering shoes under my chair this morning so I'll pay attention to him instead of the 'hog... :)

That is VERY cool - my son is the biggest Walking Dead fan, and he agrees!

I saw in the AdoramaPix Twitter stream that here are deals of up to 40% off some of the photo books right now.

Good to know about the photo books discount..I've gotten a LOT of books pretty cheaply by following the specials.

Pancho has enough skin there for another dog! ;0)

My German Shorthair Pointer likes to pick up my shoes where I leave them by the door and drop them wherever- never in the same place twice... In a hurry to leave, I am faced with one of every shoe, sometimes none... the missing shoe deposited anywhere in the house. Lost one shoe for several months! She does not chew them, just carries them ... no doubt where the term "bitch" comes from LOL ! Gotta love dogs and their personalities

Beautiful result! Love both the original and the "Walking Dead" final.

What resolution was the 20 x 30 print made at?
