I love long hikes on narrow pathways through the woods. The Pacific Northwest gets about 9 months worth of rain each year. Because of all that water things love to grow here. I've seen moss growing in the snow on asphalt parking lots in December. The creepier the things I find the better.

We've got a lot in common... at least in terms of what we like to shoot!

I've got tons photos of weird seed pods, weird bugs, fungi, strange formations etc., too!
That's what catches my eye and attention the quickest. I figure, I can't be the only one in the world who would like it, so "Snap goes the camera"!

What we DON'T have in common:

1. Gender
2. YOU live where I wanna
3. Your photos are AMAZING

Of course, my contribution here is NOT from a wooded-path walk (as most of my photography already is), but from a visit to the Delaware Bay and the Atlantic Ocean (Assateague Island)

They are "weird-looking" so I shared them :)

Wow! you do have a good eye for the unusual and especially for 'tiny' things they look great. I am, however, the 'crisp photo' freak. I would sharpen the tiny berries. The tiny mushroom has really good focus on the tiny flowers at the base of the mushroom But I would like to see the mushroom in better focus. All in all, I love them!

*snickers to self*
Ever see the movie "Men in Black" (the first one)?

There's a scene where the flying saucer crashes into the farmers field, his wife follows him to the door and says, with soft-spoken, slurred speech:

"What the heck IS it, Eggar!?"

I find myself saying that a LOT while out on walks, taking pics! Bet I'll be going to sleep tonight with that on the mind now, thanks to you Bob. LOL

You stumble through the mountain passes where you last saw what could have been aliens. Suddenly you see a message scribed on the rock fast. What form of advanced civilization could have done this?
