Douglass, jrb, Linda, A-P, and Screamer...thanks very much for the kind comments...I'd like to claim that I stalked her and studied up on wolf spiders and their habits iin order to get these, but of course it was pure luck....but I will claim that this fantastic hobby makes me keep my eyes peeled at all times, just in case....even my neighbor has told me that he now sees hawks all the time, where he never even knew they were there, just because of my ranting and raving about them....this is FUN!

Yeah, I guess it's kind of unusual to see them hitching a ride....do you know how long the 'lings stay with mom?

no,i just shot them and let them go where they wanted to.i guess i saw 2 this year.the 2nd one had a burrow and was around for a week before it left
