I have returned from my 3 1/2 week trip of the a few of the western states. Being from Michigan, it took several days to hit any kind of scenery (in my opinion). I will be posting a few photos day by day starting with day one which was actually day 3. I had intended to hit northern Colorado but alas, it was flooded from all the rain so I had to take the southern route through Colorado.
Here is the first installment

You got it all wrong. Beauty is everywhere. Look closer, in your back yard maybe. Life is good! Picture it that way..in your mind. Just a thought, so don't be upset.

We'll, I've lived here most of my life. I'm used to it. In my eye, anything with a mountain, desert, cactus, red rock etc. is scenery. I never even unpacked my camera for the first 1200 miles or so.

It takes me a week to travel that far because I see interesting stuff every where I look. Nice shots of the mountains.
