I'm almost certain that it's not my imagination. But somehow, and I personally have no clue as to how, but somehow people seem to bring their threads back to the top of the "active" list even when no one has commented on them.

How are they doing that?

Plus, they are able to make their thread (new topics) even when the thread has been around for a long time.

Okay, then. Teach me.

I believe what you are seeing is actually a shortcoming in the programming. If you click onto "new Topics" you may see some you have seen before together with genuine new topics, likewise if you click onto "Watched Topics" you will see both read and unread. If you then click refresh everything is updated.

I don't think everyone on UHH sees the same screen as everyone else. We don't even see the same ads. When I am in chit chat the topic list is constantly updating it self. That is my take.
