Lightroom problem. Please help

When I use the adjustment brush as in the attached pic I get lots of black specks appear. On this pic it's only the child that was adjusted and if you look closely there are black specks throughout. I have removed some of the facial specks but some remain and there are lots more on the clothing. Help please

I see them, if you reopen in LR, Develop > Brush and click and hold on to the pin. The area covered by the pin will show up in Red (its a bit hard to see on the girls bright clothing) and I think you will find tiny gaps where the brush has missed.

I tried it on the dark background, just increased exposure with the brush but was deliberately careless. I finished with those same spots. Notice they seem grouped where either the hue or contrast changes abruptly - the automask isn't helping too well.

I think you are spot on Searcher, it's the automask not picking up those spots.

Should have said for the OP to try increasing the flow & density.

With auto mask it can be a problem, when you are correcting turn on the red mask then go over areas that were not picked up the first time
