Sequester and our Armed Forces

Our brave men and women of the armed forces putting themselves in harms way have been given the shaft once again. They obey their orders by our Commander and Chief and this is just another little dig that they must bear. When they are fortunate enough to have time when they are not putting their lives on the line our battle weary soldiers have a few comforts of home, one has been taken away. They have AFN "armed forces network", this is television to keep up on current events, sports and movies. Sequestration has shut down AFN. It isn't much but I for one think this is BullShizen. These people are paid a pittenence and have one of the most stressfull jobs in the world and our leaders take what little home they have away. All so they can put political pressure on each other to attain their shitty little goals. I for one think the whole kit and caboodle Senate Congress and the Executive branch should do the right thing and donate their bodies to medical science immediately so we can get some new blood in there to do the job that they were elected to do. :hunf:

thank you for you statement... so true..

Having had (thank God they are all home safe now) 3 grandsons in the service (Two Marines and 1 Army Special Forces) pull 3 tours each in Iraq and one Marine also spent one tour in Afghanistan. They all returned home with nothing but minor scars, except the Special Forces Grandson who received the Medal of honor for meritorious in the "elimination" of 13 enemy soldiers and rescuing 8 of his comrades... This was done single handedly. He was blown up in a humvee by an IED but only suffered back trauma (ONLY?) He returned home with sever PTSD. This malady has finally been taken care of after 4 years of doctoring...

If he had still been in and this bs going on now was being done, I would be most unhappy.... and Vocal and maybe even physical..

Ground Air Force 1 would be a start. He could care less about the military, just like Clinton. He and most of congress are useless. Fill their pockets and run.

IF there was justice, Motel 6 would ask for cash in advance and a Before and after inventory.
