I have now figured out the reason ranchers build so many barbed wire fences. It is for photographers to shoot small birds from the windows of their car.

Those wires make great perches for beautiful birds in lovely photos,branches are fine,too. :)

Thank you Bmac. I have to admit, there are times I just drive somewhere particularly good, and sit in my car to get the photos. The tinted windows are really great. I wish they made tinted windows for blinds, fitted with a shooting porthole.
