Will the voters remember and vote any differently next time? Or do you think we will just have a republican pres., and democrats will replace the ones in the house and congress and...wait, don't we go through every other election anyway? we should have put Rosanne Barr or Chris Rock or George Carlin (when alive) in there. Couldn't have hurt any worse to try. lol

Members of the electorate, especially the no-information voters, have extremely short memories. They will vote same as last time and the time before that. For all the money spent on political campaigns, paying bribes, and buying votes, actually very few opinions are swayed in favor of another candidate or political party.

It will be some time until you have a republican president. Republicans have lost the popular vote in five of the last six elections.
Meanwhile they antagonize the latin vote--18% of the voting electorate.
Then they antagonize the black black vote--12% of the electorate.
Then they antagonize the independent woman's vote--about 20% of the electorate.
Registered Democrats constitute almost 30% of the electorate and Republicans about 25%.
There are no national candidates--really--in the Republican Party.
Do the math and figure out how they can produce a republican majority, even if Hillary doesn't run.
It ain't gonna work.
Remember the headline many many years ago..
Dewey Defeats Truman....
Hope springs eternal..

Somehow me dont believe that stuff.............lol
Someone said above (I believe) that the voters will forget and vote the way they always have.... IF the seniors are shorted their S/S checks the blame will be on both parties and they will NOT forget... They are an ornery bunch when they have to rely on their kids for help.

Perhaps if the American democrats had a backbone and did not cave or pander to these specialist groups/minorities at every perceived slight your country would not be seen to be falling apart at the seams. But then again 10 million illegals can't be wrong, can they.

Being "Picky, Picky, Picky" :D I was going to vote for him but I couldn't find his name on the ballot.
That's right , I forgot about all that! Because you only see the ones that get caught and that's got to be a drop in the bucket. I take back foolish question  I also forgot that by the people , for the people, etc. was just something they taught in elementary school.  I wonder if it was ever that way? Maybe in the begining  :XD:
