BHO closed local fishing area

I live near a big reservoir the government built in 1968 for flood control.
This was built by the federal government but leased to the state of Indiana to manage it.
It is the largest man made lake in the state of Indiana.
Wife and I drove down their today the aera where the rest rooms are were closed the road going to the fishing area below the dam was closed.

Barricades had a sign that said due to the government shutdown this area is closed.
This is the first time it has been closed since it was built.

All the corps of engineers were their at the office but they never bother with those closed areas anyway they just lead to fishing areas.
They have no maintenance on this area it is just a place where a lot of people fish along the river bank.

No doubt in my mind that BHO is trying to make this as bad for the average person as in can.

Same thing happened here in Delaware. A federal wildlife area that is a local hot spot for photogs is now closed. Only one dirt road in and out of the place and no facilities whatsoever, but they managed to get barricades up to close the road. A sad time for this country indeed.

Check out the way these tourists were treated ay Yellowstone:

This might just be a test run to see how the gestapo will operate in the near future. They can't stop illegals from entering our country, but they are really good at controlling law-abiding citizens.

Oh! Surprise, surprise. There's more of that to come too. America - the Greatest Democracy on Earth? Just don't join the populace when they peaceably but insistantly take to the streets so they can enjoy what's properly their own.

Every country has those who will take a job with "authority" that they could never earn and will take great delight in wielding it over those too nice or without the means to resist. The culture of "the greatest nation" and "the land of the free" has some nasty surprises just waiting to be sprung. These first few signs of unreasonable authority being used are a surprise themselves aren't they? Well...perhaps they are to some.

Mike ... very interesting link. Even if it's only half true, we are in for some difficult times. Maybe not "Us" who are alive now, but our families in the future.

I'm glad I have hope for the future, because I've read the final chapter of the Book of Books, and I know what the end shall be.

Yes TucsonCoyote. It's good to be a long way away but that often only delays things for us. Doesn't diminish the sadness I feel for the American people though.
Mike.

The fact that about 85% of the government is operational, brought up the probability that the average person wouldnt notice the "shutdown". By blocking access to recreational opportunities (whether or not they are owned or operated by the feds) the government maximized the effect and noticability of the shutdown. To me , this is pretty chicken-shit on their part, but not at all surprising.
