I took these photos yesterday morning walking around my neighbor. Click Here http://bit.ly/rFGFmN to view more of these photos.

I use my Nikon D300S with a 70-200mm f-2.8 VR lens and an Extension Tube to capture all these images. A Sigma EN-140 DG Ring Flash was used to illuminate these flowers. To control the lighting, I used EV control on the flash, and my camera aperture setting.Lightroom 3 was the only software, I used to enhance these photographs.

All comments and critiques are appreciated. Arnold

Lovely pictures--I especially like the one with the purple. What a lovely place you live in. Thank you for sharing these. I don't get to see blooms (and bees) like that so really enjoy them.

Did not see your location till after my response.

I shall be working at Kennedy Space Center tommorrow and at Patrick AFB on Tuesday.

I had to look at your location before it all made sense :-) .... We had ice on the roads this morning, fog for tomorrow morning, snow storm on Wed...... my flowers all black, :roll: .

Great pix, really liked the honey bee, good job!
