National condom awareness week

I was at my local chemist this morning. There was a big display by Durex. It said "National Condom Awearness Week. 1st to the 7th of Septemaber". Am I the only one who saw the irony of this being a month over due?

Don't take this the wrong way. I am sure someone will but I love the difference in the words that you Brits and we Americans use. You visited your local chemist this morning? To me you visited a Chemical plant like Du-Pont. Translation; Chemist - Druggist or a visit to the Drug Store. A Pharmacist. A visit to the pharmacist. Thanks for a new word.
