First shot the pilings are the main subject, maybe move to the right just a bit to get more of the subject leading down into the water. The other shots it looks more like the view of the ocean is the main subject.

Love the composition of the first shot......the others really need a subject to draw the viewer in. You have a good eye.....it just needs a little more training

got a new lens. tokina 11-16 f2.8
trying to get the best use out of a WIDE angle
straight up learning curve
i was inches from the driftwood

Now that You said that ....it makes sense.....I have an 8mm Rokinin that allows Me to do the same thing.....Takes getting used to sometimes. :-D

Knew the New Castle area right off because sailed with NCSC but I'm too new to make comments on pics. Of course boats are now stored in barn for winter.

you must know Dave Koppeser, we hiked with the Wilmington Trail club yesterday in carousel Park. a 5 miler.

Not as active in NCSC as I once was but yes I think he is a faithful club member. I still take people sailing all over the world and enjoy sailing in different menu. Have too many bruises and sore muscles after racing at NCSC but still great class sail boats and great friends there. Am leaving to volunteer at Seamen's Center at Port of Wilmington where a number of the NCSC also volunteer. NCSC is wonderful club.
