After a very long journey, almost fourteen hours as the plane stopped in Poland enroute to Beijing. Luci was picked up at the airport and taken to the hostel where she contacted us. Luckily they have free wi-fi so that's a bonus. She is well and sent this panoramic shot. It covers my 27" imac so I have no idea what it will upload onto the forum as. Then the other two came through. Anyhow here goes

I have no idea how the pictures were taken, Luci has just an iPhone with her. She wouldn't take a proper camera, if she has produced these lovely pictures with an iPhone, we all will be thrilled at their quality.

Paul, thanks for comments and looking. The day before she left she got a brand new iPhone 5. This is what she took these photographs with. It appears the panoramic technique is, you just point the phone at the front left and move it all the way to the right and the panoramic photograph is taken, brilliant innit?, from any camera, never mind a blooming phone, super, IMHO.

Sincere thanks and you have made me feel a bit better knowing you are at the back of us, I do have a feeling of belonging and I do think the world of you all.

Luci has eventually got to bed after about thirty hours, when she reached Beijing, in the early hours, they are nine hours ahead of the UK, so another day was just starting for Luci. She's a Yorkshire lass and made of sterner stuff, eh Nanaval, you know, don't you. because you are one.

Graham,

Great pictures that will allow us (you) to participate in her adventure.

The new camera phones are amazing!

Since I got my Galaxy S4 I've noticed that I'm carrying my "real" cameras less and less.
