Thanks Danny! The light and relative proximity helped a lot. They are abundant in the Yakima River Canyon By-way, route 821 from Ellensburg to Yakima. We saw 2 herds today of about 20 - 30 in each.
Lots of other wildlife there too, including my bald eagle nest shots (spring and summer postings here on UHH) and all the deer + wild turkeys, ospreys and kingfishers! (among others :) )
