Taken along the shores at Musselburgh and Aberlady Bay in East Lothian.

The Sea Buckthorn was originally planted to stabilise the sand dunes but it now grow rampant right along the coast. It is now being investigated as a possible super food but it's very bitter to taste.

The caterpillar is I think that of the Fox Moth but I am happy to be corrected.

Hello riada22

Thank you for the comment. Much appreciated. It makes a lovely walk. There's always plenty to see. There are even a number of Little Egrets upstream of the wooden bridge at Aberlady. They have been there for some time now but I have not been able to get shots of them. Looks like they may be here to stay. Climate change?
