Actually, there are several animals we harvest glandular secretions from that contribute to our foods and hygiene products.

You know, when you think about it (and I try not to!), humans will eat just about anything:
Ox tails, Beef tongue, back fat, pork butt, giblets, pork feet, and that's just the common every day stuff. In Japan there's a restaurant that serves a variety of animal penises. I'm sure that in poorer countries starving folks will eat any thing they can get their hands on.
I prefer anything chocolate dipped :)
