Good Morning Folks, I am looking for a reputable web site through which to sell my work. I've published in magazines and news papers and I am interested to see if web sites managed by someone else might possibly work. Do any of you have experience with sites like Fine Art America, Zazzle, Amazon or any of the others out there. I would be interested in hearing about your experience.

I've tried SmugMug, FAA, Redbubble, Imagekind, 500px, and probably something else I'm forgetting.

I do like SmugMug for mass storage of photos and organization of those photos, but to me, the interface for buyers there is confusing, lacks framing choices, and doesn't print to the size of your photo, but to SmugMug-determined print sizes.

FAA has really been my favorite for making a site to SELL. I like the interface, the marketing tools, the set-up, most everything. And if you decide to upgrade, it's ridiculously cheap with only one tier to choose from.

Given all that, as a part-time, hobbyist/amateur, sales are EXTREMELY slow and hard to come by, but...someday...

Here's my FAA site if you want a look-see at a basic (and fast) set-up: http://fineartamerica.com/profiles/jim-shackett.html

There's a good discussion if you search (see top of page) using Fine Art America. Several members provided links to their sales profile.

FAA is a winner.....

I have been using Printroom for 10 years as a backup. For the most part we do all of own printing.

I use FAA and have sold quite a few. They do all the work, which I like. I do recommend them!
