Thanks, John! I did quite a bit of work in the background of this shot, as there were numerous distracting agave spikes, errant grass runners, and spiky shrubs. I used Photoshop CS5's "content aware" first and then carved out Rose with the "quick select" tool, "inversed" the selection and then did a "lens blur" on everything but Rose.

What a nice shot. This gives me ideas for shooting portraits of children. (Have them turn the other way and look back at you.) Your bokeh, exposure, color, all comes together with strong visual impact. What a keeper. :)
