I have been useing a Nikon 4600 4.0 megapixels 3x zoom, red eye fix as my first digital camera.Now thinking of a up grade to a . Nikon p 510 3.0 inch ,Full hd movie, 16.1 meg apixels,cmos. may be buying used from brother -in -law. Does anyone have an idea of a fair price ? I'm a amiture and will stay that way. I love it !!!
ps Can I add things like fiters, remote shutter release ect.

To see a real world situation, see what they're actually selling for on ebay. Look at the ones that are up for auction, not the Buy it Now. Click on Watch, and see how they do. If I were your brother-in-law, I wouldn't try to make a big profit with this.

The P510 is what is referred to as a bridge camera. A step up from a point and shoot and a step down from a full featured DSLR. The lens is built in and is not interchangeable. Not a bad camera that may be a good next move for you. If you are looking for a DSLR look at the D3200 or perhaps the D5200. ;)
