Dogs Know and we SHOULD of listened

Have you ever heard that a dog 'knows' when an earthquake is about to hit?

Have you ever heard that a dog can 'sense' when a tornado is
stirring up, even 20 miles away?

Do you remember hearing that before the December Tsunami struck
Southeast Asia , dogs started running frantically away
from the seashore, at breakneck speed?

Do you know that dogs can detect cancer and other serious
illnesses and danger of fire?

Somehow they always know when they can 'go for a ride' before you even ask.

How do those dogs and cats get home from hundreds of miles away?

I'm a firm believer that animals - and especially cats and dogs -
have keen insights into the Truth.

And you can't tell me that dogs can't sense a potentially terrible
disaster well in advance.

Simply said, a dog just KNOWS when something isn't right...

when impending doom is upon us.

They'll always try to warn us!

WE SHOULD OF LISTENED!

A lot of years ago, when I was still single and living at home, My step father used to work away all week, used to come home on Fridays. Our dog used to sit on the door step at 12 o'clock, at 3 his ears would stand up and away he would go, my step father had just got off the bus. We all thought it was just coincidence.
Until one week he sat there on Thursday, my Mum said to him your a day early, but at 3 the ears stood up and away he went, the old man came a day early, since then I believe they know more than we give them credit for.

Some years ago we had a dog named Pippin.
He was a mixed breed and extremely friendly. The only times he ever barked was when the Missus or I were nearing the house in our cars several blocks away.
That gave me plenty of warning to stop the activities she didn't like and put the beer away. A good dog to have in a bar, if they let it in; I could go out the back door before she came in.
Unfortunately the dog wasn't a good watchdog, and made friends with any nearby skunk.

Excuse me-"OF listened" there is no such phrase-Full pronunciation is "We should have listened "- shortened version of "Should have" is "Should've" not "should of" -why do people not understand the language they speak?
