The scale of a project like that is beyond my comprehension. I wonder what they did with all of the material they removed? Does anyone know?

I recognize some of those tunnels ......that's where those Aliens parked their ship in Predator II ....remember ! :)

Amazing, but there are already 13 tunnels under the East River. Railway tunnels were first built in 1910! Two car tunnels, and 10 for subways.
