Did they make the contestants use the same plow and tractor? I recognize the the Massey Ferguson but can't tell what brand the orange tractor is.

They all use their own tractors and plough. The tractor is a Fordson.

Looks like pretty good soil. How much is land selling for over there Graham? It's insanely high here in Indiana and the Midwest U.S.

This is a fine collection of boys and their toys. I haven't seen a man get on a tractor yet that he didn't spend more time than he needed. Hope that doesn't sound sexist. I guess tractors are fun (and maybe a bit challenging) to drive.

We call this "poor land" around here John ;-) You should see the good stuff on the black fens, lean on your walking stick for too long in the fens and it will take root :-)

These guys are farmers, they plough for a living, and at weekends they plough for fun :-)

I'm going to have to ration my viewings of your new avatar vicki... my BP has gone through the roof ;-)

I'm truly flattered and yet laughing out loud. BTW I have pulled a harrow (with a small car) to level a riding arena. No one will teach me to use the tractor...I wonder why. -Mrs. Smith on the other side of the pond
