Can you imagine the size of the beach that would be needed to do this very same thing for Gettysburg? 51,112... I visited this battlefield just two days ago. You can feel a growing "weight" of it as you work your way around and read the plaques.
Some day I hope to visit and pay respects in Normandy. Thank you.
