Where We're At:
Friday, 9/20/13 - The House of Representatives passed a Continuing Resolution that would fully fund the government (including things that Republicans don't like) while at the same time defunding Obamacare.
Result: House Republicans compromised on spending that we'd like to see cut in exchange for defunding Obamacare.

Friday, 9/27/13 - The Senate stripped the defunding language out of the House passed Continuing Resolution and sent it back to the House.
Result: Harry Reid and Senate Democrats refused to compromise.

Saturday, 9/28/13 - The House of Representatives added two amendments to the Senate revised Continuing Resolution to delay Obamacare for one year (far from what we were originally willing to agree to) and repeal the medical device tax.
Result: House Republicans compromised away from defunding to delaying Obamacare for one year.

Monday, 9/30/13 - The Senate stripped the two amendments from the House passed Continuing Resolution and sent it back to the House.
Result: Harry Reid and Senate Democrats refuse to compromise one inch on Obamacare.

Where We Need to Be:
NO MORE COMPROMISING! Harry Reid has taken us one step closer to a shut down. The time is now for the House Republicans to stand strong. The ruling elite in Washington, DC, and the media are claiming that we are unwilling to compromise, but the timeline of events proves that this is a lie!

Call your Representative in the House and tell them that we are finished compromising. It is time for the Senate to act - it is time for the Senate to be a part of the conversation and protect the American people from Obamacare. A one year delay isn't even good enough, but the recent vote by the Senate proves that the arrogance of the ruling elite is at an all time high.

So tell me, how would you feel if the positions were reversed? What if there was a Republican President and a Democratic Congress. Would you be okay with the Dems shutting down the government unless the President approve a gun control bill?
Bet you wouldn't.

The governemt was FULLY FUNDED, only exception being Obama's wet dream.
Obama will shut down the government because he refused to talk to Republicans, AMERICANS, but the fool begs to talk to Iran and Russia, Syria and muslim radicals.

Quite the man

Repeal Obamacare and keep your hands off my guns. We can do without the government for a while. Its not like the Democrats want to work anyway and Obama will have more time for Golf.

I am not a great deal involved in the nitty gritty of these bills... but one thing I have noticed over the years is that Harry Ried has remained steadfast and that is something we should admire...

THE BILL WILL BE DEAD ON ARRIVAL.....

The Affordable Care Act is the law of the land. It was passed by Congress, signed by the President and confirmed as Constitutional by the Supreme Court. Any attempts to change it, adulterate it or delay it futile. No matter how the Republic of Tea Baggers (scrotum humor) plays their hand it is a loser. They are hold a small pair (more testicluar humor) against a royal flush. They will simply have to tell their insurance company lobbyists that they tried their best and no they can't have their money back.

Laws can be repealed. It is not the law of the land, it is just another bad law. When it was passed, it was a Fine, not a tax. The Supreme Court said it was a tax but it was never voted on as a tax. You want it, I don't and I don't care if the government does shut down. Maybe we can save some money.
