I guess I will be starting this new challenge a little earlier than usual as I see SueJay has said goodnight and has signed off the Hs and perhaps we all can use a bit more time for this "I" challenge as I don't think there are as many "I" nouns as readily accessible as there were for many of the previous letters. I have noticed as the letters have been presented for the challenges: there have been many creative and Inventive posts.;and may your Inspirational posts continue!!! Please consider this challenge an Invitational one and may you be Inspired to Issue forth with your sharing of your many marvelous photos.
I am going to begin with a few photos of Imprints. an imprint being marks made by pressure. My first Imprint is of a very dusty hawk which struck our window one day. The force of the hawks' collision caused its Image to be Imprinted on our window.
And yes, I do have a couple of bird species to post, starting with I to share: a glossy Ibis and an Indigo bunting.

I'll be back in the morning with a few more Is for this new challenge. I look forward to seeing your "I" Ideas and photos tomorrow also.

Thank you Laskalass, for your response. Your comment has confirmed to me that this post has been or can be found! I am totally new at this and I am not sure if my topic has registered properly or not.Hopefully it will be there in the morning. Those two birds are the sum total of my birds for this letter. Although I am expecting to see a horde of flying things with this letter!
Anyone considered posting insects?

lovely labels, the shipyard label makes Schooner beer come to my mind. aha... maybe a trip to the beer store might be a helpful resource with some of these challenges? Some wine labels are probably very resourceful as well. hmmmmm
Enjoy your trip in L. L. Bean land. Thanks for your comment.

Hmmmm, Imprints of bare feet in the sand! I had thought at first it was in the snow.., but it makes for a great "I", And a yellow Iris! the colour of yellow is great and makes for a beauty. It sure beats my blue and white one I have waiting in the wings for another day.

Wow you're fast with that one, quicker than I could take a look in our wine cabinet. I maybe need a couple of glasses to keep up with all this chatter. Thank you again for posting.
