He scored, and so did I on this play.
Taken Friday night at the game.

Shot with a Nikon D800 at ISO 2500 (stadium light really stink!)

I reduced the resolution because UHH refused the high res version. (sorry)

Thanks for looking.

Larry

Thanks for commenting. I had to run 140 yards to get this shot. The 3rd quarter ended with the ball on the 1 yard line. Then we switched ends. Since I was behind the endzone---I really had to hustle before they ran the next play.

Absolutely!!! Shooting sports events I want to be sure I get shot of the big moment, what ever it is. Makes for a night of hard work, but a lot of fun. Especially when you can show the players and coaches the shot they want to see.

I do really love my gel knee pads since I kneel for every shot to get better angles.

Well done Larry. Actually, very well done. Admire the focus especially since you were panting and the camera was wet from sweat. ;)

Very nice! Can relate to the running back and forth to get the shot.

I guess you have been there before. It just makes the shot that much sweeter when you get the good one.

   Nice job, Larry! I agree, stadium light does really stink! I even tried it with a Better Beamer without much success while shooting soccer under the lights. Thanks for sharing.

Sometimes I really think it just is not fair. The parents and folks with lesser camera have to work the stadiums with the useless lights, while the pros get the best gear and the best lighting. Shouldn't that be reversed????

You want your property taxes to pay for that wonderful lighting?
