My grandson (#7) took a pass and moved the ball into the box where he was fouled and awarded a penalty kick. He scored 2 goals in this game. His team won 3-0.
I was shooting a Canon EOS 50D w/70-200mm F2.8 L IS lens + 2.0x TC; -.33EV; Tv @1/1600"; 5-fps; Partial metering.
PP w/PSE8. Exif intact. I shoot HH off a (rifle) bi-pod w/IS Off. Comments welcome.

Beautifully crisp sports set, Gene.
Nice sequence of action shots. About how far away were you with the 70-200?

Thank you. Because I was using a 2.0x TC with the 70-200 I was about 25-ft. from the sideline halfway between the top of the box and the goal line. If play came close to the sideline, I would only get head and shoulders. I usually use a 1.4x TC but had the 2.0x on because I was out shooting wildlife before the game and forgot to make the change.
Glad you like these and thanks for looking.
First 5 pictures look like you are playing on a hillside.

Good captures. Caught the action nicely.
Did you shoot in Auto White Balance?
The grass and the jersey's aren't the same color in any 2 consecutive images.
What kind of PP did you do? Looks like you added a lot of sharpening. Maybe pushed the contrast?
You might consider shooting at a lower
f stop to blur the background more.
That last shot should be titled: Putting your toys away!
