I do not how else to describe whoever took that insane picture.

Probably asked for a huge amount of money, shoots with a DX camera (or worse) and use JPG too...

How many times has it been written here that it's what's six inches behind the camera and not the equipment that makes the difference.

This is way beyond bad...

Between the horrendous posing composition, the incredibly pour choice of the folks position, the even ore disturbing look of discomfort in some of the girls and guys faces not to mention the lines cutting the bride and groom faces it is really hard to see something that is not wrong here.

I hope they asked for their money back and did not recommend this ******** to anyone they like.

Let's look on the positive side. It could always be sold to a photography school for inclusion in their composition class. In the "what not to do " section, of course.

This is one of those photos that turn up all over the internet, normally as a part of a set called 20 /25 /30 badly positioned / composed / timed, photos etc. Probably taken by a family member who thought it was a good idea at the time until he saw the result.

You are right on both counts (internet and leech photographer)

The leech was taking this from a different point of view and the guy that set this thing up has absolutely no taste nor idea of what it would look like. At least one can hope there is no straight line driving through the couple heads.

Bride maids sitting on the knee of some guy she has likely never seen before and likely will nerve see again? You have to have a real brain fart to do this.

Rongnongno..... ONE MIGHT wonder if he group asked for this particular pose...... IF they did, should the photographer have refused.... or just do what the customer wanted......

Just a Personal question here... I have only been a member for about 2 months.... so Cannot go back further than that... BUT DO YOU EVER FIND A PICTURE YOU LIKE, OTHER THAN YOUR OWN I MEAN....

Mike

What you are aiming at?

My pictures are irrelevant. (read my signature)

As to liking other folks pictures? Many here are good even excellent BUT when I see a willful ignorance and unwillingness to deliver the best to their clients I get antsy, even angry. These are a minority as usual and as usual they are the most vocal and most belligerent when one dares to challenge their lack of 'professionalism'.

THAT is what I attack and will always challenge.

IF you sell your pictures you must deliver the best work you can produce and use the tools you have invested in. Anything short of that goes from a lack of personal ethic to deliberate attempt to defraud by misrepresentation.

What is worse is that they try to influence others to think like them by presenting themselves as 'professionals'. You seems to listen to their arguments as you believe I think myself better than others as a photographer. THAT I am certainly not but I do have a stronger sense of ethics.

My approach is abrasive, lacks tact and is aggressive, I grant you that. I do not believe in being a diplomat or anything like it will ever work with folks like that. My argumentation and my being a pain in the ass is noticed, even for the wrong reason.

As to the pose being requested? It is a possibility, remote but a possibility. As to refuse? Folks will do anything during this type of event.

He was asking if the photographer should have refused to take the picture. How did you not understand the question?
